Memorial’s Entrepreneurship Training Program (ETP) is an education program for graduate students interested in starting a business and learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Jannatul Ferdos, an Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) alumnus and a Master’s student in Applied Science in Software Engineering at Memorial University, plans to launch a technology-driven grocery store offering snacks and staple foods from her home country to local residents. Combining her cultural knowledge with technical expertise, she aims to improve access to diverse international foods through smart POS systems, digital pricing tools, and a user-friendly app for online ordering, delivery, and in-store pickup.
